ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਮਹਿਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ‐19 ਵਰਗੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਏਕਾਂਤਵਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ, ਸੰਕਟ ਸਮੇਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਅ ਰਹੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ-1 ਦੇ ਐਸ. ਡੀ. ਐਮ. ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੀਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਰਾਹਤ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੀ. ਪੀ. ਕਿੱਟਾਂ, ਸੈਨੇਟਾਈਜ਼ਰ, 500 ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਭਾਫ਼ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਟੀਮਰ, ਬਾਥਰੂਮ ਚੌਕੀਆ ਆਦਿ ਸੌਂਪੇ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਰੀਚ ਫ਼ਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਗੁਰਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ‘ਚ ਫ਼ੈਲੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੰਕਟ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਲਈ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਉਕਤ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਭਿਅੰਕਰ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਰੀਚ ਫ਼ਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮ, ਸਮਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ•ਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ 500 ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ‘ਚ ਬਾਲਟੀਆਂ, ਮੱਗ, ਨਹਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਾਬਣ, ਟਿਸ਼ੂ ਪੇਪਰ ਦਾ ਪੈਕੇਟ, ਟੂਥ‐ਬ੍ਰਸ, ਟੂਥ ਪੇਸਟ, ਸ਼ੈਂਪੂ, ਕੰਘੀ, ਹੇਅਰ ਆਇਲ, ਓਡੋਮਾਸ, ਕੈਰੀ ਬੈਗ, 100 ਭਾਫ਼ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਟੀਮਰ, 50 ਬਾਥਰੂਮ ਚੌਕੀਆਂ, 100 ਪੀ. ਪੀ. ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ 1000 ਸੈਨੇਟਾਈਜ਼ਰ ਸਪੁਰਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੰਧੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਉਕਤ ਰਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਏ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਟੀਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਪੀੜਿਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਏਕਾਂਤਵਾਸ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ, ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ, ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ‘ਚ ਮਾਸਕ ਤੇ ਸੈਨੇਟਾਈਜ਼ਰ ਵਗੈਰਾ ਦੇਣ, ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਪੀੜਿਤ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਮਦਦ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਦੇਣ, ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਣ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਲ•ਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਰੂਪ-ਰੇਖਾ ਉਲੀਕੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸੇਵਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੇ ਅਸਲ ਮਾਰਗ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੈ ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੀਰਾ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਰੀਚ ਫ਼ਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜ਼ਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਚ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਅਤਿ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ, ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇਣਗੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਲਦ ਸਿਹਤਯਾਬ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਜੋਈ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਫ਼ਿਊ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਘਰੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਕਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ।
