ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਪ੍ਰੰਪਰਾ ’ਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕਾਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਡੀਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ‘ਅੰਮਿ੍ਰਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਉਤਸਵ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮੇਲਾ 2021’ ਇਸਸਾਲ 2 ਤੋਂ 5 ਮਾਰਚ ਤੱਕ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇਪਿ੍ਰੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਮਹਿਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੰਮਿ੍ਰਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਉਤਸਵ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮੇਲਾ ਆਪਣੀਵੱਖਰੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ’ਚ  ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੇਲੇਦੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ’ਚ  ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾਅਜੀਤ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਬਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਮਦਰਦ, ਪਦਮਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਡਾ. ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਪਾਤਰ, ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਬੁੱਕ ਟ੍ਰਸਟ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਯੁਵਰਾਜ ਮਲਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਗਵਰਨਿੰਗ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਆਨਰੇਰੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ: ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੀਨਾ ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਖੋਜ ਰਸਾਲੇ ਸੰਵਾਦ ਦਾ 13ਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ 14ਵਾਂ ਅੰਕ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ. ਬੀ. ਟੀ. ਦੀਆਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰਤੋਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਕਵੀਆਂਜਸਵੰਤ ਜਫਰ, ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਜੌਹਲ, ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਅੰਮਿ੍ਰਤ, ਸਵਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਵੀ,ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਂਕੇ, ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਬੁੱਟਰ, ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ, ਤਨਵੀਰ, ਵਾਹਿਦ, ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸੰਧੂ, ਰਮਨ ਸੰਧੂ,ਜਗਵਿੰਦਰ ਜੋਧਾ ਆਦਿ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਵੀਦਰਬਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਪਿਹਰ ਲੋਕ-ਗੀਤ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ ਰੇਖ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਆਤਮ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੇਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਤੇਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਰਵੇਂ ਹੁੰਗਾਰੇ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆਕਿ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਲੇ ’ਚ ਭਰਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਲਈ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਲ ਆਦਿ ਵੀ ਲਗਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।ਫਲਾਵਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ, ਆਰਗੈਨਿਕ ਸਟਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਖਿੱਚ ਬਣਨਗੀਆਂ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਮੈਡਮ ਸੁਖਮੀਨ ਬੇਦੀ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵੀ ਹਾਜਰ ਸਨ।
